Jim is a graduate of Whitworth University where he received his Bachelor's degree in Computer Science. He has been involved in software development for nearly 30 years, and has successfully managed IT teams and projects for over a decade. He and his wife Kathy reside in Vancouver and have 3 children - all graduates of VC and currently attending universities in the Pacific Northwest.
David Copenhaver
Parent of VC Student and CEO of Venia Holdings, Inc.
David received his degree in Communications from Portland State University in 1986 and has worked in commercial real estate development for 23 years. He is a certified development professional (CDP) and serves on the board of directors for Options 360 Pregnancy Medical Centers, Detour Ministries, and the Vancouver Downtown Association, as well as on various community planning committees. David and his wife Caryl Ann, have three daughters.
Amy Crawford, Secretary
Parent of VC Student and VC Alumni
Amy received her degree from Oregon State University in 1982. She is a wife, stay at home mom, and homeschooling parent. She and her husband have four children, including two graduates of VC and a current VC student. She enjoys volunteering at her church and with other ministries.
Dan Kristensen
Parent of VC Alumni and Senior Territory Manger for Moen, Inc.
Dan is a graduate of Pacific Lutheran University and has been involved with Christian Education for 28 years. He and his wife Lori have two grown children, both graduates of VC.
Kathy McKee, Vice-Chairman
Parent of VC Student and VC Alumni, and Placement Director of Teacher Education at Multnomah Bible College
Kathy graduated from Seattle Pacific University with a Language Arts degree and teaching certificate in 1982. She has two children -- both graduates of VC.
Joe Zarelli
Washington State Senator
Joe was a member of the United States Navy from 1982-1989, and has served in the Senate since 1995. He is also president of JP Zarelli Inc., which specializes in business development and risk management services. He and his wife Tani have four children and two grandchildren.
